Meet Ina, raised in Prague in an immigrant Balkan family that escaped the Yugoslav war. She has always shown an interest in entrepreneurship from a very young age. The main catalyst of her journey came during her Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship at UCL when, one evening, she was attacked while walking home from a dinner. But everything happens for a reason… The core idea behind eNOugh was born.
Following the event, Ina spoke with countless women who had even worse stories to tell. This drove her to devote her entire Master’s dissertation to customer research, which included interviews with women, self-defence experts, and criminologists, leading her to become an expert in the field.
Ina is now committed to solving this issue, aiming to create a world where no one has to fear harm while walking alone at night, empowering individuals to walk freely and confidently.
In addition to leading eNOugh, Ina is deeply involved in organising curated events across London. She’s also a Sigma Squared Fellow and a Teaching Assistant at UCL for the Product Development and Prototyping module. Her passion lies in supporting impact-driven ventures and breaking down barriers for women leading tech startups.
Fun facts about Ina
Meet Gaelic, the brains behind eNOugh’s tech. Gaelic began his academic journey at UCL, where he graduated of a bachelor’s degree in engineering before making the bold decision to drop out of his master’s to dedicate 200% of his time on building eNOugh. Born in Uruguay with a French-Argentinian background, Gaelic’s entrepreneurial spirit truly began during his university days, often inspired by watching Shark Tank episodes during study breaks with his best friend.
The coincidence made that while he was exploring different business ideas, Ina reached out with the eNOugh project. Having always experienced anxiety for his mother safety when travelling across Argentina or stressing over friends walking home alone at night, Gaelic immediately connected with the mission. His time in London only amplified this connection as he witnessed several of his friends fall victim to thefts and assaults.
Fast forward to today, Gaelic became a Millennium Fellowship alumni as well as a holder of the Sigma Squared fellowship. He is passionate about technology, and believes in its impact to enhance the quality of life through the combination of hardware and software.
