How it all started.

Our story started with an unfortunate personal experience by our founder, Ina.

Ina was walking home after a dinner. It was 10pm in central London areas. When all of a sudden., she got surrounded by 4 men on motorbikes, who attacked her and aggressively tried to rip the phone out of her hands. Outnumbered she ended up being dragged into a small dark street, where she was pushed to the floor to easily steal from her. Left alone, Ina had no way to call someone for help, and without a phone she struggled to go back home.

But as they say: “everything bad happens for a reason”. This unfortunate experience led her to talk to several women about the issue of lack of safety when walking alone at night. Many had much worse stories to share and she realised that this is an alarming problem that desperately needed a solution.

That is how eNOugh was created.
